From June 1st to June 3rd, in the summer feast, the 25th International Friction Sealing Material Exhibition officially opened in Xi'an, the ancient capital. 1/ Pulp Series - LABON PULP

Aramid pulp is a differentiated product obtained by surface fibrillation of aramid fibers. During the fibrillation process, special mechanical action causes localized splitting on the fiber surface, resulting in numerous branch fibers connected to the main fiber. Aramid pulp not only possesses the high strength, high modulus, high-temperature resistance, and dimensional stability of aramid fibers but also has a unique surface structure that aids in capturing other components in the mixture, ensuring uniform dispersion during matrix blending. It is suitable for use as a reinforcement and heat-resistant fiber in various materials, including elastomers, thermosets, and thermoplastics.
With the continuous development and advancement of production technology, automotive brake system specifications have been reducing, and testing technical standards have become more stringent. This has raised higher requirements for pulp products that can provide stable and high-performance solutions. Aramid microfiber and acrylic microfiber are achieved through special equipment and processes that transform aramid or acrylic short-cut fibers into high-strength, high-modulus microfibers. Labon's microfibers typically have lengths of ≤1mm. While retaining the excellent properties of high-strength, high toughness, and good temperature resistance associated with aramid and acrylic materials, microfibers also have excellent processing properties, these give better strength, wear resistance, and surface smoothness to products.
With the rapid development of domestic and international sealing technology, the sealing product have undergone multiple updates and iterations in terms of materials, structure, and functionality.
